YSCV Spring Pops ConcertJoin the Young Singers Chorus of Vermont as they celebrate their second year!
The YSCV consists of three separate groups, spanning grades 1 to 12 who will be performing both separately and in various combinations throughout the evening. Music presented this evening includes "I Won't Grow Up" from Peter Pan, "Transylvania Mania" from the Broadway musical Young Frankenstein and a sensational medley from Sweeney Todd. The entire ensemble (with over 75 kids) will also come together for a fully choreographed "Jai Ho" from Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire.
Directors Piero and Andrea Bonamico and chorus manager Stefanie Weigand work closely with all of the singers every week to create a fun-filled, creative and educational environment.
The concert will take place on Sunday, May 22 at 7pm, at the Barre Opera House. The singers have accumulated a vast amount of knowledge covering many genres of music over the past year, and they are thrilled to share it with you.
