The Mad River Chorale

Session two begins in early January. The tuition listed below has been pro-rated for singers who are joining the group now.

Junior Mixed (Grades 6-8)
Andrea Bonamico & Mary Jane Austin-Reynolds, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Saturdays at U-32 High School

Students will begin to focus on advanced levels of ear-training (recognizing and repeating melodies, rhythms and harmonies), musical notation (being able to read and write music and its associated symbols) and musicology (compositional genres and their historical contexts). More importantly however, the ensemble will focus on the intricacies of the changing voice for both boys and girls. This ensemble is designed for maximum adaptability and will shift rapidly to accommodate changes in the vocal and social maturity of its singers. The group will strive to build confidence and self-awareness in a safe and nurturing environment.
