Rehearsals for the 2010/11 season begin on Thursday, September 16. This first rehearsal/informational meeting will be shorter than usual, ending at 6:00 p.m.
Junior Mixed (Grades 6-8)

Thursdays at Bethany Church in Montpelier
Students will begin to focus on advanced levels of ear-training (recognizing and repeating melodies, rhythms and harmonies), musical notation (being able to read and write music and its associated symbols) and musicology (compositional genres and their historical contexts). More importantly however, the ensemble will focus on the intricacies of the changing voice for both boys and girls. This ensemble is designed for maximum adaptability and will shift rapidly to accommodate changes in the vocal and social maturity of its singers. The group will strive to build confidence and self-awareness in a safe and nurturing environment.
Please note that there is a discount for families with multiple singers. We will take $100 off the SECOND and any subsequent singers within the same family.
