The Mad River Chorale
The Mad River Chorale has been serving its community through song for nearly twenty years. It is a non-auditioned community chorus and typically performs two concerts per year. The Chorale's primary goal is to provide an opportunity for its members to sing in a rewarding and challenging musical environment. There is a focus on education and a unique desire to see singers grow both as performers and musicians.
This spring, the Mad River Chorale will be working on a classical program featuring the Liebeslieder Waltzes by Brahms, the Spanisches Liederspiel by Paul Zoll, 4 Slowak Volkslieder by Bela Bartok and Alice Parker's Songstream.
The first concert is on Friday, June 4 at the Waterbury Congregational Church at 7:30pm. The second will be on Saturday, June 5 in the Bethany Church in Montpelier also at 7:30pm. The final concert will be at the Gatehouse Lodge, Sugarbush Resort in Warren on Sunday afternoon, June 6, at 4:00pm.
