John Hager
Recent opera experience includes Nemorino for The Italian Operatic Experience’s production of L’elisir d’amore, Alfred in Die Fledermaus for The Liederkranz Opera Foundation in New York, and Ferrando in Cosi Fan Tutte. Last month, John was invited as a guest artist at U. Mass in Amherst to sing Beppe in Rita. He was featured as Bill in Hand of Bridge and Mr. Gobineau in The Medium for the Metropolis Opera Project, and as Nanki Poo in The Mikado, and Ralph Hackstraw in H.M.S. Pinafore for the Village Light Opera Group. Theater experience entails several roles, including Barrett in Titanic, Mary Sunshine in Chicago, Man 1 in Songs for a New World and Neville Landless in The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
John holds a BFA in Musical Theater from Ithaca College and an M.A in Spanish Literature from New York University.
